A customer contacted me and wanted to repair his set of Audi TT RS wheels. These had some curb rash and scratches to be repaired. The outer lip had damage and the customer wanted to keep the same look as before. So I repaired the damage around the lip relief keeping the same look intact. Then a little paint and a little clear later the wheel looks like new.

What a week! After completing work on a few cars I noticed my exhaust was hanging loose. Took the “Fixie Mobile” to the muffler shop to repair it. Seems that while the exhaust was being welded a spark ignited part of the interior and a flame busted my rear glass. The fire was promptly subdued but not before causing damage to interior parts. Luckily my air compressor and paints were spared any damage.

At this point I need to either get another vehicle or find a hatch for this one. Not an easy thing to do. Not only is this a rare car but it is also an older model Audi 100, a station wagon which is even rarer. (Not many Audi cars in Atlanta’s salvage yards.)

For now I am working on a solution so I can get back to repairing wheels as soon as possible.
